The Chrysnbon plastic kit was used as the base for the room. A light spray of white gloss was all that was required to give a porcelain finish.  The taps and plugs were replaced by metal items and copper wire used for the pipe work. All plastic wood was replaced with the real McCoy with brass hinges made for the toilet seat and bought ones for the cupboard. The cistern pull is on a pivot with an elastic band used to return it to its normal position. Water in the cistern and WC is represented by a sheet of clear plastic. Other than the plunger, in the corner,  being given a wooden cocktail stick handle and a layer of tissue on the plastic toilet roll all other items in the kit have just been painted and added to the scene.
